Introduction

Vacasa didn't need another pretty rental listing, it needed proof of the whole experience. The moment keys change hands, the second guests walk in and exhale, the quiet tech doing its job in the background. So instead of photographing an empty house, we built a small cast and turned one Austin property into a stage for every touchpoint Vacasa wanted to show off.

The Brief

Vacasa handed us a shot list, not a mood board: key handoffs, a sales agent walkthrough, a home care supervisor showing off the smart locks, guests kicking back with wine by the fire. Three hired actors covered every one of those roles in a single day on set, stepping into homeowner, guest, and Vacasa team member, sometimes twice over.

The System

Here's the trick: the same three faces show up again and again, just in different rooms and different clothes. Blues and khakis for the sales agent, a badge and ballcap for home care, easy weekend wear for the homeowners settling into their own place. Wardrobe and blocking did the heavy lifting of turning one small cast into an entire roster of Vacasa touchpoints.

The Library

By the end of the day, Vacasa had exactly what was on the shot list, and then some: guests unwinding by the fire, wine and cheese on the patio, a portal demo that doesn't feel like a demo at all. It's the kind of library that makes "vacation rental" feel like an actual vacation.

Final Thoughts

This one's proof that a shot list, done right, doesn't have to look like a shot list. Every staged moment here reads like something that just happened to be caught on camera, key handoff to check-in to the quiet tech running behind every stay, which is exactly the point.

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Alissa Cordoba and her husband on a Vacasa commercial shoot, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, expertise, and creativity."

From the initial planning stages to the final product delivery, this team worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail of the shoot was executed flawlessly. They took the time to understand our vision for the project and offered valuable insights and suggestions along the way, helping us to achieve our desired outcome.

Their technical skills were truly outstanding. They were able to capture stunning visuals and footage that perfectly showcased the beauty and charm of the property and talent, highlighting the best features in a way that was both compelling and engaging. They also had a great eye for detail, ensuring that every shot was composed perfectly and every moment was captured with precision and artistry.

What I appreciated most about this team, however, was their ability to work seamlessly together.

Overall, I would highly recommend this photographer/videographer team to any marketing agency or company seeking to produce high-quality commercial content. Their professionalism, technical expertise, and creative talent make them an exceptional choice for any commercial job.
