Introduction

UNS doesn't open a U.S. office every day, so when the international architecture firm picked Austin for exactly that, the photography needed to keep pace. Press was already circling, and a freshly signed contract for the Austin light rail project meant the team needed imagery covering multiple channels, fast.

The Ask

UNS needed team and office photography built for two jobs at once: press coverage announcing their first U.S. office, and marketing imagery backing their newly signed Austin light rail project. The shoot window was short and the team wanted to get back to actual work, so the brief was efficient, flexible coverage built to serve press, marketing, and whatever came next, all from one session.

Approach

To keep the day moving and the team's workday mostly undisturbed, the shoot worked through multiple spots inside the UNS office, picking up a range of settings and configurations along the way. Every setup got shot both vertical and horizontal, mixing wide shots with room for text overlay, mid-range shots, and tighter details, so the team ended up with a genuinely flexible library instead of one narrow set.

Deliverables

What came back covered every format they'd need, vertical and horizontal, wide and close, so UNS could pull the right image for a press release, their website, or whatever marketing need showed up next without ever booking a second shoot.

Final Thoughts

What made this one work was efficiency without cutting corners on range. In one short session, the team walked away with a library flexible enough to cover press, web, and everything that follows a major announcement like this.
